Berry, and Pomegranate Smoothie

Enjoy a anthocyanin-rich smoothie to help protect against cancer.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of frozen mixed berries
  • ½ – 1 banana fresh or frozen
  • ¼ cup pomegranate juice
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt or 1 cup of plain conventional yogurt
  • 1 scoop of protein powder undenatured whey, hemp or pumpkin protein
  • 2 tsp honey

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients together in a blender (except whey powder, if using) and blend on high speed until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, adjust by adding additional pomegranate juice. Add whey powder and mix on low speed just until blended. Pour into glasses and serve cold.

Recipe Notes

Alternative version (dairy-free): Replace the greek yogurt with brewed and chilled green tea or matcha green tea powder and water
