3-4cupswater or vegetable broth
3” kombu strip or 1 bay leaf
1 ½tspHerbamare herbal seasoning salt or ½ tsp salt
1tsp.basil
1tsp.oregano
Garnish: chopped scallionsgreens such as spinach
Instructions
Saute onion in a little oil until soft. Add celery, carrots, additional vegetables and red lentils and saute another minute or two. Add water, bay leaf, basil, oregano and Herbemare. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 25 minutes.
